The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally sassa functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage developed for intervention activities a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
